I have struggled all my life with the habit of comparing myself with others. I always felt less than others. It started very early in my life when my family and relatives started to compare me with my elder sister. I didn't understand the effects of it at the time when this all started until later in my life. I was always trying to be someone else. I am still healing this part of me. There is so many layers to it for me. I completely understand that this my own karma. I might have made mistakes around the "comparison" in my previous lifetimes. This type of karma created some negative feelings about successful people around me. As I am learning about love and forgiveness from my beloved spiritual master, I felt really sad about my thoughts around others people's success. I couldn't take it anymore. So I went for some high level healing around it. I didn't want to think negative anymore. I wanted to be happy for others and stop comparing myself with others. I wanted to be happy for who I am.
I received 2 big guidances around comparison that helped me tremendously. I have shared one already in one of my blog posts but I will share it again. The other one, I just received it few days ago. I will continue to share these guidances in my next post. I will be offering a healing blessing for being happy for others success in my next post. This negative mind set has been a major roadblock for me. It is a joy stealer. It comes for me, from deep seated insecurity and unworthiness. You are correct, the healing comes in layers.
